What We Do
Menu Program
We provide menu design and review existing menus to ensure group homes in Arizona are compliant with state licensure regulations.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) require every long-term care community to have a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) as part of their interdisciplinary care team. Registered Dietitians have extensive training on proper nutrition standards and help create improved meal plans and programs for residents and their families.

Meet your Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Hello! I'm Maya Schmitt, MS, RDN, LRD, CDCES. I provide 1:1 appointments virtually or in person to help you achieve your health goals and manage chronic conditions. With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field both in long-term care facilities and providing nutrition education, I specialize in obesity prevention and management, gastrointestinal disorders and diseases, and management of diabetes and kidney disease.
My goal is to help clients develop confidence in making healthy behaviors surrounding food and movement a way of life. I focus on realistic and sustainable health solutions and attainable behavior change interventions and use evidence based research to help clients make better choices about food and improve their health and longevity by maintaining a healthy body weight.
